I read many years ago that it is not a good idea to use a modified sine wave inverter on TV's for example. But that was before every house had a flat screen TV.
How wrong is it to run the following devices with a modified sine wave inverter?
1. Flat screen TV
2. Blu-Ray DVD player.
3. DSTV Decoder.
4. External HDD.
The reason I'm asking is because I allready own one that I want to use, and would rather spend the funds for a new Pure sine wave inverter on something else.
I've got a heavy duty Ellies 300Watt inverter like this.
