I am currently using what was a great player, the Marantz CD 72 MkII, that I have had for about 12 years. At the moment , I am very happy with it but wondering if i am missing out on something.
Been reading up on the Emotiva ERC-2, and trying to get a sense of how much technology has changed wrt the DAC's used and whether there would be a noticeable improvement in my sound by upgrading to a more modern player? Any thoughts?
My system comprises an Emotiva UMC-1 with an XPA-5 driving my new monitor audio GX300's. What I am really asking is whether anyone thinks its worth upgrading
