I have decided to take the plunge into room treatment . Room treatment on a tight budget . So now the question is first how do i identify reflection points without the microphone and room eq wizard software . How do i know if i need bass traps . People talk of bass traps and stuff It don't make sense to me I have no idea what standing waves are . I know though my sound can improve . I wanna get a big carpet first to help with reflections from the floor . I currently have a small one . Want to get a bigger one . I was thinking of putting panels on the side walls . But where exactly is the issue .
