Hi guys. I got a mail from Microsoft that my account was hacked. Just how easy is it for people to get your password? Seems not difficult at all :headbanger:
I changed the password as well of that of my gmail account. Problem is I am on a lot of forums etc and as I thought I had a really strong password, my password is the same on 90% of the places I need to sign in to. Seems to have one password is a bad idea, but if you have different passwords everywhere you will have to make a note somewhere to remember them all. Can that document not be easily accessed by the same people who could hack your password? That is the reason why I chose to rather get a strong password than having passwords for all the sites.
I do have anti virus programs. But can someone perhaps have installed a keyboard logger or so? How else would they get my password?
What steps can I take to not get a recurrence of these events besides quiting internet ;D
