Keen to know how you have set up the cross-over for your HT speakers.
80hz is THX recommended, I found it useful for LCR and the rest above 120Hz depending on size, I had gone as far as 200Hz when I was using very small satellite speakers (M1s) 4 years ago.
I tried the 10Hz up principle on the fronts. my speakers should have LFE roll-off around 30Hz thus tried 40Hz, didnt sound that great! then 60Hz was okay but I found 80Hz much better.
With ATMOS overhead in-ceiling speakers, Audessey shows that they can handle 80Hz, but I usually set them between 120 and 150Hz.
SVS has some good bedtime reading in this regard.
