one of my my kef's midrange drivers melted and warped :'( :'(, after only about three weeks ??? 
. still working fine though. i took it in and got a report from balanced audio that the driver was blown ! and therefore not under warranty , they quoted me around R3k to repair it. sorry, i'm not repairing a lemon ! how does a driver melt in the first place? shouldn't it stop working after being blown away?! i don't understand these things as i'm no tech guru!! so yeah you guessed right, i'm in the market for solidly built speakers, and i'm not buying from balanced audio or my local supplier again...at these prices i was expecting better treatment!!
