This one came through the door today... An Inspire HiFi modded LP12 with their variation of the Rega RB251 tonearm. My client had this one brought from the UK and it was damaged in transit... The damage gives me (the curious fixer) a chance to see what makes up the construction. I must say. I am not impressed. The workmanship is rough and what to my eye looks rather under-engineered... What a wimpy way to extend the armtube. That connector stub is wayyyy too small.
As for the 12" Linn mod. It is going to be interesting to see how the table sets up with the weight of the arm moved even further from the back left spring...
