So here's the thing. It's a (don't mock me, if I could afford the newer technology, don't you think I'd swap?! :-[) Panasonic CRT, about three years old now. Works well enough save for one aspect - a blasted patch of discolouration that from day to day moves position and gets bigger and smaller. Was returned to the official repair agents a number of times, and I was told they couldn't see what I was talking about. Eventually I gave up, suspected it had to do with my centre channel speaker that was sitting on top of it. However I recently went overseas for three weeks, and during that time, fearing Affirmative Shopping, I dismantled my HT set-up. Turned TV on last night for first time, and blow me down if the mark wasn't there still. So clearly not magnetic interference from the speaker. I have also moved house since buying the set, so it's obviously not something linked to position, wiring, I assume. I'm trying to avoid throwing big objects at the set in frustration, as apart from the persistent blob, the set has served me well. Any ideas on what is happening here?!  ???
