I received a friendly reminder

"Please upgrade your evaluation copy to Windows 8.1 Pro, otherwise your PC will reboot every 2 hours".

Now, there is a subliminal threat right there.  So, I duly upgraded.  After a successful upgrade, all my software is gone.  DVDfab, AVS4U, Photoshop elements, Nikon NX2, Nero Platinum full-frikin- package, Microsoft office 2013 enterprise !!, Calibre Office, Mediamonkey..that is just to name a few significant notables.  Sonofa....
