I Think my TV is Kaput

Hi all.my Samsung TV in my little mancave has started playing up, first I had a few black lines right across the top of the screen now yesterday the picture jumps in and out of focus and I have ghosting mainly around any text on the screen but then sometimes the picture is perfect.everything is run trought a HT amp and a streaming box no TV arial connected only used for movies Netflix etc.I have changed HDMI cable so far that doesn't change anything so I know the cable is not the problem I am not sure how to test further to make sure it is the TV and not something else in the chain I am going to try and connect just a DVD player to tv direct and see if that works if not then I will assume the TV is at fault any advice will be much appreciated
