ID this spider

[Atjan]

I saw this guy sitting outside under the stoep roof. Its quite a beast. That beam its sitting on is about 120-150mm  wide.

The rest of the family wanted to give it a taste of Doom but I asked for 24hrs to ID it before deciding on its final fate.
