Few years ago I tried out a Benchmark DAC, just for cd, there were no HD tracks yet. It wasnt better than my Wadia 860. The Mark Levinson DAC was R60k 2nd hand so the search stopped there... Dont even talk dCS
10 years later I want to stream music via Laptop and come out of the "oude doos" (hope censor lets this through)

What type of budget must I set myself? Definitely NOT R20k+
I noticed the new Teac DAC, wow, Rega, Musical Fidelity. Benchmark getting expensive. any alternatives?
