So do any of you have experience with the Rondo and/or Cadenza series?
I'm tentatively starting to save up for something special, and my heart is leaning heavily towards the Rondo Bronze or Cadenza Blue... Both seem amazing, obviously the Blue is more expensive. I listen to mostly indie/alternative/rock/metal/electronica, with a bit of jazz thrown in for good measure, so I'm looking for something which will sound amazing, even on "less than perfect audiophile" recordings.
From what I've read the Benz carts lack some bottom end, so I'm focussing my search on Ortofon (for now). Right now I'm using a Benz MC20E2 L (bought it real cheap) on a LP12 with Linn Ekos arm.
