Improving Sound Stage Height

Hi All

I am reasonably satisfied with the width of the soundstage my system reproduces, but it lacks height. The soundstage doesn't project above the height of the speakers (1150mm) and in most cases is below the middle of the speakers.

Any ideas on why this is the case and what can be done to lift the soundstage.
