After the deluge of the last week in Gauteng and the resulting loss of life I've been thinking of keeping in our vehicles a survival/emergency kit. It would like to include some sort of window breaking tool, a seat belt cutter, maybe a life jacket. Does anyone have any thoughts on this, as in what exact equipment I should get. Also how would one avoid becoming a fatality of the flash floods that took place in the highveld this week.

Regards
