Increase in prices

I've noticed an increase in the price of power amps over the last few months... Is this because new equipment has become more expensive or is there other factors to be considered as well.
Last year u could for example Pic up a Rotel RMB 1095 at R18k or less if you were lucky, a 1075 at 8k.
Now I notice it at 25k and 12-13k respectively..
Wonder what the going rate for a RB993 is going to be..
