We're trying out a friends induction cooker and matching kettle.

The induction cooker took 3:33 minutes to boil 1 liter, using 7,8 amps.

The old AEG kettle took 2:30 minutes but used 9,0 amps.

How do we decide which is more economical?

He said the induction unit was faster, but not in our case.
