I can potentially purchase a pair of Infinity IRS Gamma speakers.
As all those who know the classic Infinities know, these speakers have the ability to melt a geyser element... ;-)
Power requirement = 500W into 4Ohms per speaker bi-wired - on a relaxed day.
I would have loved to use high end Krell, Martin Logan or Classe, but budget is an issue right now.
As an interim, would an RMB1095 function relatively okayish? It can go up to 400W per channel @ 4Ohms. If I use 4 of the 5 channels it theoretically should be able to sustain the loads? Although not as musical as the Trade Marks above, it should suffice for now? I'd welcome any opinions.
