First of all i would like to thank everyone here for an exceptional forum. I have been a member since 2014 and although this is my first post, i do visit the forum very regularly for info and pastime.
It has been some time since i added anything new and need some advice on upgrading my current setup. I would appreciate any input from the experienced members.
As it is: Marantz SR6008, 2 x B&W 683S2 and 1 x B&W ASW650
My first thought for the next step was to add a decent power amp for the 683's and found a mint Marantz MM8077 at a very, very good price.
Herewith my questions:
1. What are your thoughts on this amp? (Used the search function without success)
2. What will the noticeable improvement be like in my current setup? Worth all that money?
3. Is there anything at this stage you would rather do instead of the power amp?
4. Any other hints/ideas on upgrading?
