i am doing some research on ipod intergration into a E39 5 series BMW with satnav as i am looking to buy such a car.
i came across a couple of solutions but the only one available in sunny SA,as far as i can find, is the dension gateway 100.

it is imported by SMAC ( http://connects2.co.za/fitment_centres.asp ) but they do not sell to the public.
i phoned a reseller/installer and his price is R2700.this seems a bit steep to considering they sell for about 12 odd pounds across the water.
what i would like to know: is there another solution to my future problem or is there a better place to buy this?
