Hi,

I bought a Logitech Harmony One remote the other day to control my AV system. Actually a very awesome remote! I've had an old Marantz RC2000 MKII universal and a Marantz 'some other model' universal and so far, this is much better!

Anyway - the one problem I've realised with all universal remotes is the spread of components, spread of IR windows and sheer number of windows (amp, DVD, CD, TV, DSTV, media streamer etc etc) the signals need to reach. I've seen the Marantz components can be linked via a D-BUS cable and I can use just one IR window to control the 3 x components. I'm definatly going to do this a.s my amp, DVD and CD player are Marantz

Also - I see a port at the back of my SR5002 called IR trigger which *may* also be able to help. What exactly is this and how does it work?

Where exactly can I get this D BUS cable to link my Marantz components?

Thanks in advance!
