Some clients of mine in Lesotho have had to dig a borehole for water. For the last 35 years that they have been on the property they have always had sufficient water from a local spring and from rainwater collection.
This year the spring is dry and the rainwater tanks are empty!
They have had to resort to getting a borehole. First hole 100m - nada/niks/fork-all. Next hole - 95m with a weak supply!
Now. Thinking back we had a borehole as a kid and I am sure that one was only 15m deep.
Is 100m deep for a borehole?
