Mods/Admin might be able to shed some light here, but just out of interest, having noticed two recent threads where people really flew off the handle over things/comments that had me scratching my head and doing a WTF, I was wondering if 'Forum Fights' were seasonal in some way or, like me, simply related to alcohol usage and what medication I happened to be on at the time.
It's something that has interested me for quite some time, but which I'v never looked into. I remember a TV series years ago (forgotten title) where the inhabitants of this Alaskan town town always got uppity with each other at a certain time of year because of the noise the ice in the mountains made as it began to thaw towards Spring. Once it had broken and the waters had begun to flow, it was like a release valve for the people as well.
I've seen this in Gauteng as well - as we move towards Spring, we have the growing heat combined with the dust and dirt, and we honestly seem more prone to being cranky (to be polite), but when that first Summer thunderstorm hits and the rain comes down, we seem to find some sort of release in it, and so much tension seems to go.
So I was wondering if the imment change in seasons might be causing some of the conflict? Or am I just being coarse and talking :cr@p: :cr@p:? >
I'm sorry. This post has nothing to do with the weather - the bottle store had Johnny Walker Red on speshul.
