4 kits will cost approx R 1000.

Tubes are said to be quite microphonic but can be cured with rubber grommets. Also pot grounding should be to input ground and not to heater ground to avoid  microphnics. Tube life is said to be around 3 years and 1 spare 6418 is shipped with kit.

A PT2308 is used as headphone driver because of being able to work with quite low voltage swing and being able to drive 32ohms...
