As I'm writing, there's a bloke from a garden service standing daydreaming with a hosepipe, p!ssing precious potable water on my neighbour's already clean driveway.
This goes on on every street, sidestreet almost at every time of day.
And there's faarkall I can do about it.
I can't talk to my neighbour as he will tell me to mind my own business or even worse.
Only yesterday I read somewhere that the next war will be about water, global warming or not.
People around here have enough $$ not to worry about water bills.
The worse culprits doing this are not the homeowners but usually builders and garden services. In particular micro businesses with a bakkie, a few brooms, spades and a lawnmower and not enough money to signwrite the name of their service.
This reckless wastage of precious water will affect all of us sooner, rather than later :headbanger:
mafioso
