I do not want to mess up Chingy's thread any further but the sweeping statement below left some "not so" serious questions on the table.
Please elaborate on this. Does this mean:-
1. It is not really that important to go very low as "very low" is not really music any longer and hence audiophiles do not bother with this
2. Most audiophiles do not have any decent speakers
3. Most audiophiles do not have any decent amps
4. Most audiophiles do not care whether their systems reproduce "true" sound
5. Most audiophiles are actually not true audiophiles and only think they are.
6. Most audiophiles are completely oblivious to some of the "audiophylic wisdom" you possess
7. Very low is more important than control
8. Most audiophiles are just very sad and confused people.
I guess I could add another 10+ permutations to the above but it just gets more confusing. As being relatively new in the world of "the audiophiles", and I do not consider myself as one, I am left rather bemused about the above statement.
