So sitting here listening to my new old Yamaha YP-800 I can say I really won't be missing my REGA anymore...

Don't know much about TT's but my ears tell me I have found something special.
Playing an old pressing of Big Country and sounds every bit as good as my Pastors TT did back in the early 80's when I first heard this album.
Wooden plinth, heavy as hell and has a DC motor direct drive with a speed control for ultra fine adjustments.
This coupled to my Yamaha AX-892 Amplifier is really sweet. Also, about to hook up a pair of NS-A935A speakers. Currently using PSB Alpha B1's
