Hi,
I got this KEF model40B over the weekend, It was in storage for the last 8 - 10 years, and I gathered it must be about 20 - 21 years old - firstly what would this sub be worth now?
I connected it to my system and set the crossover on the sub 80hz and the volume to about -9db - pic of the front http://product-images.highwire.com/6608320/1373-4.jpg
Pic of the rear http://212.47.219.162/dynamic/timg/f/a/fa83b4504a85810c1239ba1b51ebf2f3.jpg In the manual it says and AVR with only 1 sub out, connect to Left hand side in too sub and then connect the left hand side out to right hand side in.
What other settings to I need to look at, or does one play it by ear mostly? I changed speaker setting to "small" and activated sub on AVR
Then in regards to the Q70's I might get my hands on these too, same story with them in regards to storage. Currently running Q300 bookshelves in front, I assume the Q70 will be better front and then to move my Q300 to the rear?
Any comment or recommendations welcome
