i discovered on saturday that the midrange of one of my KEF speakers had melted and deformed from it's original shape!!, i took it back to the dealer and he was not sure what damage it was and how it had occured. they'll take it back to balanced audio and they'll inform me. now i just want to know if any one of you guys had come across a similar situation or knows what could've caused the damage and whether such damage will be covered under warranty!! if not, what should i expect to pay for replacement of the driver. the speaker still produced sound, but was noticeably weaker than the other one, with the result that it seemed as all the sound was coming from the other speaker!!
