KT88, KT90 or KT120

Hi all I need to replace my four valves. Is the KT120 that much more powerfull than the 88's and can you really just swop them? Then, I read some bad reviews on both the 90 and 120's, has anybody done an A / B comparison (or A / B / C - for this case). Do you think the output will increase 100% or 5% from the KT88 to the KT120?
