Hi All,
A tiny piece of lacquer has chipped of my Sony ES floorstanders, about 2 mm diameter exposing the wood underneath. Don't ask how it happened..... I am still trying to figure that out.
Anyway, I enquired at builders wharehouse and only found a lacquer spray in a big can, product called Rust-Oleum Lacquer. The finish on the speaker is a deep brown/black combination and from what I read, Sony gives it a few coats to get to that high shine. I resigned myself to the fact that it won't be a perfect repair but also don't want a repair that is insightly as the chip is on the front, just next to the grill.
Please advise on repair leads and/or ideas.
Thanks for the assistance.
