A lady's A4 2.4 Audi wagon has been parked outside since this morning.
She returned here a few minutes ago, identified herself as the car's owner and said her car suddenly started losing coolant when she passed my house this morning as her 'radiator had burst'.
I asked to have a look, suggesting to her radiators don't burst that easily and that it was more likely that a hose had burst or come off.
She started telling me about the many garage/mechanic ripoffs she had experienced in recent years and asked me if I knew of a reliable, honest?? mechanic somewhere in Cape Town's southern suburbs who could repair her car.
Well I only know two - the one stole new sparkplugs from my car and the other caused R5K's worth of body damage by jacking my car away from its jacking points.
Does anyone know of such a rare, honest, non-ripoff and capable person who can repair the lady's Audi? Preferably somewhere in Cape Town's southern suburbs.
