This follows on an earlier thread. I need some advice on the above. Never owned more than a crt in the past.
I've learnt in the past 3 days that not all TVs are equal.
I need a TV with a digital DBV-T tuner, and was under the impression that FHD implied a DVBT tuner - it doesn't. Also need one that will decode Dolby Digital.
Should be a 32" LCD.
The Sony EX40032 seems to fit the bill. Sounds Great advised me on the Samsung LA550C, but I cannot find any info on this (only the 530).
Apparently LG has a lot of combacks - so that's out.
I want to consider Toshiba as well.
Anyone own a Toshiba and can comment on its reliability. The most important for me from a brand point is RELIABILITY - it must last more than the warranty.
Anyone can advise on some models (< R5000) and their robustness/reliability ?
