Hello AVForumites,  although I have browsed the forum in years past,it was only recently that I joined. My interest in joining was a a result of a longstanding problem I have had with a pair of  Mission 782 speakers I bought new in London many years ago when the Rand was something like R3 to the Pound sterling.
The problem is that the speakers do not have the same loudness.Left front is very much softer than the Right front. They are connected to a Pioneer AV receiver.Nowadays we mostly watch TV and are finding it increasingly irritating to miss out some parts of the dialogue.I recall when the speakers were connected to an amplifier the same thing was noticeable, but the amp had an adjustment to allow left and right speakers to be adjusted for loudness.Only as we have aged has this become more of a problem. My simplistic solution is to get a knowlegeable person/company to check them out and advise what can be done. What we are looking for is for the audio to be as clear as posssible with equal loudness from each speaker. My own knowledge in this sphere is extremely limited so it would be difficult for me to undertake this so I'm looking for help in identifying a person or company who can assist me.I'm not expecting this to be free of charge.I live in Edenvale and am able to transport the speakers locally.
