There's a group over at Lencoheaven.net discussing an aluminium platter replacement for their Lenco L75's.
I have a local friend with the machining facilities to make such a prototype and send it abroad for evaluation.
Is there anyone local (Cape Town) from whom I can beg or borrow such a platter just for measurements on this forthcoming Wednesday evening? The platter will stay in my custody and will be returned to the owner the next day - ie Thursday. In the unlikelyhood of anything happening to the platter, I will assume responsibility for damages.
I have no financial or otherwise interest in this and if my friend can produce a replica suitable to overseas buyers, all 'deals' will be strictly between him and whoever wants to buy.
