Hopefully, we learn something every day that we can take forward to improve life for ourselves, our children or at least other people. Let's share some of those basic things here so we can all accelerate our learning.
We like to spend some family time looking at photos and videos we took on the TV. I have them organized by year and month. As it happens, my wife had an iPhone for 2 and a bit years. We don't have any of those photos on our server because there were a lot and I couldn't just download them simply from her old phone, as I'm doing at the moment from her S5mini.
Lesson for the day kids: Stay clear of Apple devices. They will rob you of your memories. >
Stirring in a way because I was too stupid to, after 5 or 6 hours of trying, find a way of getting the pictures off the phone and onto the server.
Anyway, I won't get caught like that again - I won't buy something that locks me into a web-based proprietory eco-system. Unless I become a spy or something.
