I need an AVR to do 3.1 with built-in Phono stage to drive 685 S2s & PV1D..Budget 10-15k

  • Yamaha RX-A850 @R14500 demo; 100W per channel; 8ohms; 0.06% THD

  • Marantz SR-6010 @R18000 2nd hand; 110W per channel; 8ohms; 0.08% THD

To me, the RX-V767 looks very enticing at that price. I cannot justify the price on the 850 and 6010 when compared to the V767.
It seems like it would do exactly what I need at a fraction of the cost...and leaves some change in my pocket to save up for the PV1D :cool:
If the majority votes say 6010 - I guess I will have to wait a little longer to get my price.

Thoughts??
