A customer owning a pair of Quad 11-eighty valve monoblocks and their matching pre-amplifier Quad QC-twenty four recently acquired a turntable. Although the QC-24 has phono input jacks, there is no phono stage built in but there is a very expensive option available from Quad costing +- UKP1K upwards.

The customer is keen to try his turntable using the above equipment and is looking to buy an inexpensive solidstate phonostage (new or used) to use as a temporary device to play his turntable which uses an MM cartridge.

I phoned-around a bit but no luck until now - Bothners also has nothing.

Any ideas/offers?
