I have a balcony covered with sandstone that is absorbing water like a sponge. There was never any proper sealing done between the slab and the sandstone either. One of those builder/horror stories. I now have a damp problem in the room below the balcony and rather than lifting the sandstone and redoing the sealing of the slab, I was wondering if there are any members who have managed to fix a similar problem with a sealant? I do not mind a slight colour change in the sandstone.
