LFD, passion and dedication

The British brand, LFD is very unconventional in its approach. Like Shindo, the units are simple in appearance and design but executed with fanatical attention to detail. Like Shindo, don't expect remote controls or flashy facilities, everything is about sound quality.  There is no marketing, no marketing department nor material, no real live web site, and the units are built personally by the designer, Dr Richard Bews. The reputation of the LFD amplifiers and Dacs are well established for those in the know. Harbeth users often consider the LFD amps and electronic as their end game. Although not cheap, the range especially the integrated amps, are very affordable in comparison to alternatives they are often compared to.

Needless to say, although on a small scale, I am happy with my new association with LFD and I am looking forward to making new friends around this quirky range.
