For those of you considering this hardware:

1. Connected via PS3, plays 3D blu-rays with no problems.  No need for extra converters
2. I bought a Huhushop converter and realise now I don't need one
3. 3D picture quality is massively better than 2D picture quality, very noticeable - darker due to glass tint, but better
4. wifi
5. Magic remote
6. Miracast
7. Apps, if you have VPN you can set it up for 4 different countries including US and UK
8. Has a tuner and comes with a digital aerial.  Tuner doesn't work for SA, will pic the signal but lack of PAL 1 means it sucks and no sound
9. Can connect to amp via optical, long optical not easy to get.  Got 5 meters max, works a treat
10. I can stream music or 5.1 movies wirelessly from laptop to projector, sound to the amp via optical
11. 700 Lumens LED bright enough for use with lights on, not too bright of course
12. Have tried and failed to get ARC to work, definitely a fault in the system.
13. No zoom and manual focus
14.  No VGA or RCA, instead, comes with "earphones-like" adaptors that terminate into female RCAs for composite inputs with stereo audio, another set for component input, and a funny-looking socket for VGA with its adaptor
15. t=Ethernet socket

Ability to play 3D correctly directly from PS3 was unexpected, in 1080p for that matter.  It is still not on par with the real deal Full HD 3D stalwarts, but for the money, well worth a thought.
