I am hoping someone can advise so I can score a decent TV out of this for little or no money (Well, the kids will score)
My neighbour gave me the above mentioned TV as it is faulty. When you switch it on you can see the screen lights up slightly but there is no picture. Likewise when I push the menu button there is nothing.
LG service center said he needs to have the LCD module replaced due to defect at a cost of QR1984 which is roughly R8000 so he simply bought a new TV.
If I can figure it out and repair at a cheaper cost somewhere under QR500 or better yet for free that would be a bonus.
Any thoughts?
