Hi Guys,

I'm new here and need some advice on how to limit the amount of noise that passes through a door.  I currently live in an apartment block and recently bought my first little system (Mission MX4 with a Yamaha RX-V675, still saving up for the rest).

The apartments are relatively well isolated regarding sound as all the windows are double glazed and once closed you can't hear anything from outside (Live in CT city center, which is quite noisy). Now my only concern is the door leading to the hallway, it is a solid door but this is the only place that sound actually escapes from the flat and I'm worried that my neighbors will get irritated soon! What are my options to limit noise (apart from moving to a new place)?

Will adding weather stripping to the frame help and where can I find something to attach to the door to close the opening at the bottom?  :walled:
