I have stumbled across a pair of used Linn Artikulat 350A Speaker's. They have not been well looked after. Veneer is damaged in various places, tweeter grills are dented a but all drivers seem to be in order. These things are built like a tank so hoping internals (internal amps etc.) are all in order. My brief research revealed these are powered speakers with an ability to be driven by an external amp as well. I still have to test them to confirm the speakers are working.
I would love to rescue them but am concerned that i'm taking on a project that could be painful. I'm new to this audiophile obsession and have a pretty modest setup
My question to seasoned/veteran members (that sounds dodgy I know) is whether there are any Linn experts around who could assist with possible repair and restoration? Happy to invest time and money if I can get some expert guidance/advice?
