Question : What is the best way to listen to compressed (mp3) or uncompressed (FLAC and WAV) that will equal the sound quality of a CD played through a good CD Player.
I tend to notice the "thinner" sound from CD's created from MP3's or MP3's played via the laptop to the amp.

Is the Audiolab 8000 CDP the answer ?
I don't listen to anything but original CD's through my Hi FI - but may have no choice as I foresee the death of CD's - and I have quite a bit of music on MP3 (320kps and above).
