My solar powered system consists of 7 x 415 w panels, a 5 Kva inverter and 2 x 5Kwh batteries
Firstly, what is a recommended percentage discharge to balance lifespan against electricity cost saving? Mine is set to discharge to 80% before Eskom kicks in.
I undersatnd that the stages of loadshedding will affect the choice.
Secondly, is it still 1 cycle of charge if my battery is charged from 80 % to 100 % compared to 20% to 100%?
In other words if discharge my battery to 80 % before charging to full will my number of cycles be greater than if I discharge to 20% before charging to full?
