over the weekend i bought a new box to run my lms on.
it's a core 2 duo, & i have installed windows xp (i really do not have the patience to learn how to use ubuntu)
i then installed lms
when starting lms it runs for about 10 seconds, then shuts down. i don't even have time to add my squeezebox details.
when shut down, all the input fields are greyed out.
to add directories, i had to restart on the control panel, go quickly to the library tab & add a directory. after that the server stopped, & i had to repeat the process...
when i restart the control panel the directories i added are gone
when i look at the diagnostics it tells me that the 3 ports (34833, 9000, 9090) have failed.
it says that there is a possible software conflict, but i don't know how to find it
windows firewall shows 3483, & a range of 9000 ports are enabled for lms.
any ideas?
should i just uninstall everything else, & then start with lms?
