I'm not the type to whine when I don't get my way, but this is just absolutely rediculous:
I've been on the lookout for a Harmony 525 remote for some time. Wherever I go, I get the "no stock" excuse. So, getting a little fed up, I contact DCS about this and they give me the "we don't know when the next shipment will arive". WTF?! How can the importer not know when the next shipment is to arrive?!
So, I figure I'll get it from Amazon in the UK. True as nuts, they come back and say that they cannot export that product to South Africa. Grrrrrrr!!!!!! So I can't get it locally as the agents are inept and I can't get it overseas because there's local agents.
Popped off an Email to the MD of DCS, let's see what comes of it, but I'm not very hopeful.
I dunno what to do next, as I really want this specific remote as 1)It'll do what I want and 2)It's the fanciest one I can afford/justify. There are some 1000's and One's available, but I'm not spending over R2k on a remote, spank you very much.
