Logitech Squeezebox Duet.. any feelings?

After getting my reference transport back from a 'lube n tube' service and sporting a new laser I would like to get one of these devices.  Anybody have done some serious comparisons on higher-end kit.  I see it sports a 48Khz sample rate as well and I am interested in streaming 24-bit FLAC.

This I would like to partner this with a Mark Levinson DAC which also locks on 48Khz.  Stereophile review gave the Logitech Transporter a solid review and I would ultimately go for this however for easibility and home automation I would start at the Duet.
