Hi..
I posted this in general and no replies , so trying here..(mods please close the one in general if so desired).
My nakamichi 580m was brought home from my brother... I didn't realise he stored it all these years.. Anyway ... I am so happy it's here.
But it seems that something happened during transport as the play is not working , the light goes on and the head moves up a tad bit, but no motor turning and the head does not live up completely.
The FF and REW turns fine..
There's also some screws missing on the chassis , which we think might have caused the machine to shake a bit extra during transport.. But it's just to complicated for me to try and understand.
Anyone here can help ? Or know if someone down here in JHB that is trustworthy and reliable to help ?
